The Maryland Emergency Medical Services Program promotes Maryland's 45,000 EMS providers. It was developed as a result of the groundwork that was laid and began in 2007. It was incorporated in the state of Maryland on January 12th 2008. We were granted nonprofit status on February 12th 2009.
The mission is to promote EMS workers throughout the state of Maryland with the EMS license plate program
MDEMSP and all related designs trademarks including the "stylized star of life" and rounded logo are copyrighted as of March 17th 2008.

Ted W. Snyder, President
Ted is the President and founder of our organization. He has been involved in EMS for over 30 years and believes in promoting Marylands EMT's in our profession.
Roxianna Eller and Dawn Russell, Executive Admin Officer
Manages lnternal special events and manages our teams of volunteers.
Jim Koritzer, Communications/IT
Jim supports our internal infrastructure along with communications and internal technology. He also keeps maintenance on all equipment and vehicles.
Edward "skip" Koritzer passes away November 6th, 2015.
Skip had worked with MDEMSP and special ministries a chaplain with the Maryland Fire Service and was on call throughout the tri-state area (Maryland, DC, Virginia) working with accident victims and their families.
Jennifer "Dawn" Googe-Logan passes away May 12th, 2013.
Dawn was The Executive Administrator for MDEMSP and was paramount in it's restructuring MDEMSP to aline the program with the Maryland Fire Service and was on An active leader in the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland working with young girls their families.
