Scholarship Program

Each year The Maryland Emergency Medical Services Program Inc. 

Scholarship doors & offers its scholarship to a very deserving Maryland EMS provider. 
The following is required for all applications for scholarship program.
  1. You must be!
  2. Must be a Maryland Resident
  3. Must have enrolled in the MDEMSP Membership Program.
  4. You must be classified as disadvantaged either through economics, socially and/or financially.
  5. You must be willing and able to complete all requirements and sign an affidavit of completion. 

  • You must currently hold at least the certification of Maryland EMT-Basic.
  • You must provide a financial statement.
  • Provide satisfactory work or volunteer statements (Letters of Recommendation employer,
  • You must provide a written statement of intention
  • Complete In (full detail) about how you would further your career in Emergency Services.
  • You must submit a written essay about yourself.
  • You must be able to attend an oral interview with the MDEMSP Board of Directors.
