July 2008 MDEMSP and NAEMT Form Partnership.
Maryland Emergency Medical Services Program known as
MDEMSP and NAEMT also known as The National Association of Emergency
Medical Technician's has signed an Affiliation Agreement. In this agreement the
terms are addressed below.
The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, Inc., herein after
referred to as “NAEMT” and the Maryland Emergency Medical Service Program
herein after referred to as “MDEMSP” desire to establish a formal relationship. This relationship will bolster memberships for both organizations. The current President Ted Snyder, issued this statement " MDEMSP Inc. sought the partnership to offer members benefits which would not otherwise be offered in just a local organization.

Maryland Certified EMS Providers. The following is a short list of qualifying person's who would be eligible for Maryland EMS Plate Program.
- Retired or Active EMS Providers.
- Active or Retired Police Officers Local or Federal.
- 911 Active or Retired Dispatchers
- Commercial Employed and Hospital Based EMT/EVO First Responders
- Maryland Fire Service Affiliated - Fire Fighter EMTs
- Retired EMS Providers - Regardless of Years of Service
- Maryland Emergency Medical Technician - Basic
- Maryland Emergency Medical Technician - Intermediates
- National Registry Regardless of State.
- Maryland Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic
- Military Trained EMS Providers
- All National Registry Emergency Medical Technicians. You however must be a Maryland Resident
